Mount Alvernia Academy 2010 Summer Program

CLASSES BEING OFFERED:

Students entering Grades 1-5

Remedial: Math, Reading and Writing Skills/Grammar Review

Enrichment: Math, Reading, and Writing Skills/Grammar Review

Required Summer Reading Assistance

Students entering Grade 6

Math for Exam School Testing

Vocabulary/Reading Comprehension for Exam School Testing

Students entering Grades 1-6

Computer Class – Computer experiences with Microsoft Office, graphic design elements, assorted educational game software, typing skills and digital photography for all grade levels.

Students entering Grades 1-6

Cooking Class – Fundamentals of preparing, cooking and baking variety of foods

Art Class – Joyful expressions: Celebrating your creativity through art

All classes will be an hour in length. Classes will be held at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.

*If there is not adequate interest in any of these classes, the course may not be offered.

Cost: Given the current economic conditions, we have lowered our fees and are even offering a package deal.

The details are as follows:

There is a $50.00 Registration Fee for each family.

One course will be $350.00 ($45.00 less than 2 years ago)
Each additional course will be $325.00 ($45.00 less than2 years ago)
Package Deal: There will be a charge of $950.00 for any student who comes for four hours each day for the full four weeks. ($555.00 less than 2 years ago)

There is an additional fee for supplies for Cooking ($50.00), Art ($50.00), and Computer ($20.00) classes.
